The role of New Product Planning is to provide customer input from a commercial perspective into the development of new pharmaceutical products to be launched in the coming years. Additionally, New Product Planning engages in appropriate pre-launch marketing activities in line with the disease states for which products exist in the portfolio or will be in the portfolio in the near future. New Product Planning partners with the development organization in the planning of product strategies and clinical development plans.
