IT - Equities Trading Project Manager/Business Analyst

Mid Level | Talent Infusion

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, analytical and project management skills with a good understanding of front office trading.

Responsibilities:
- Liaise strongly with traders and desk heads and other mainline functions (market risk, compliance, operations)
- Have detailed business knowledge of the listed Futures and Options products, trade flows, compliance, risk and control framework
- Develop an understanding of the detailed equities business requirements and system/application/business front-to-back processes
- Liaise with IT development resources to establish how the development may best be carried out (application, process, etc.)
- Translate strategic and local business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Manage the project planning, execution, timing, quality and status tracking
- Have understanding of the UBS internal process, policies, guideline, support and project management framework
- Provide regional assistance to users of in-house technology

Certifications and Special Requirements

-A background in application development, project management, and investment banking is required.
- 4 to 6 years experience in investment-banking/financial environment.
- Have equities product knowledge
- Has experience in business analysis and project management of equities trading systems in an investment bank
- Technical understanding of exchange trading technologies, market data and FIX protocol. A background of IT development is an advantage
- Has sound problem solving and analytical skills,
- Has a proven track record of building and maintaining working relationship with business users and internal teams
- Have 4-6 years of relevant working experience with minimum 2 years project management experience
- Project management, communication skills(written, verbal), and ability to work in teams or solo.
- English is a must, Japanese is an advantage
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
