Information Technology Application Manager

The application manager will manage the application team. This person will have a hands-on role similar to an application engineer to write programs and makes application changes based on the requirements defined by the business and clearly documented in an authorized set of specifications, workflows and deliverables. The application manager must work with the business to manage and prioritize all aspects of applications and application development process including strict process control, process documentation, change management control, update schedule and setting priorities for business requests. The application manager will handle the application team. Certifications and Special Requirements

□5+ years experience with industry standard ERP solution such as SAP, JD Edwards
□Strong understanding of ERP financial, warehousing, manufacturing and distribution systems
□Business level English competency to support global IT projects and work with Global IT team
□Native Japanese capability
□Experience managing a team of 3 to 10 people
□Industry standard knowledge in SOX and ISO9001


Technical Competencies
□ERP: JD Edwards & E1 are primary with other industry standards such as SAP as secondary
□Platforms: AS400 Capabilities including RPG programming, system security, hardware management
□Database Capabilities: DB2, MS SQL Server are preferred other industry standards accepted
□Business Intelligence: Crystal Reports & Business Objects
□Programming: RPG, SQL, E1 Tool Development
□Warehouse Management: Experience in industry standards related to WMS
□ETL Tools: WebMethods


Non-Technical Competencies
□Strong leadership skills with ability to communicate clearly with team and business
□Ability to focus on company standards and execution of standard processes
