Plans and executes on Corporate Affairs activities aligned with group strategy and challenges
Drives the reputational policy and process. This includes working with CEO and regional and group Corporate Affairs to ensure that group reputational risk procedures are being implemented and reputational risk issues are addressed.
Understands and implements media relations. This includes monitoring media coverage and comments of interest to the company and effectively contributing to the identification of key media targets, and maintaining media ad value.
Corporate brand building plans are developed and implemented to ensure the company brand is protected and enhanced in line with the country positioning strategy.
Provides an effective co-ordination role during crisis communications which includes keeping crisis & issues procedures, systems and critical contact lists up-to-date and ensuring effective distribution of stakeholder messages throughout the crisis
Understands the role of Sustainability and environmental conservation in reputation management and establishes, gains buy-in and executes for the Sustainability strategy that CA is responsible for
Leads and coordinates the internal communications strategies which directly support business operations and the achievement of business goals. With HR drive staff engagement opportunities and events around values and brand.
Work with CEO closely to address the CEO message & communication effectively across the bank in Japan. Prepare outline speeches and presentations for the CEO for both internal and external events.
Manage the Japan Corporate Affairs budget within limits, with a culture for cost management
