Fusion Systems is experiencing rapid growth and are looking for a bilingual Flash / Flex Website Designer & UI Specialist to join our international team.
As a Website Designer & UI Specialist, you will be assigned and work closely with key clients, evaluating and recommending solutions for their web development needs across their Japanese and English PC/mobile websites. While technical skills are required additional emphasis will be given to User Interface (UI) design and communication skills.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership in managing the client’s expectations as well as driving solutions geared toward the company vision whilst increasing the impact, effectiveness and functionality of the clients various web sites within their business needs. This person will be required to evaluate, recommend, and develop solutions as well as to create technical documentation primarily in English however some Japanese documentation ability is needed.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Project Manager / Project Lead.
- Manage web projects and coordinate between key stakeholders.
- Provide development and technical implementation as Lead Designer.
- Carry out website design, planning, project scoping, solution evaluation, and recommending solutions to clients.
- Carry out Quality Assurance / User Acceptance Testing as they relate to user interface design and implementation.
- Provide creative artwork for web production.
Required Skills
- English Language - Business Level (all skills)
- Japanese Language - Business Level (all skills)
- At least 3-5 years commercial experience in a client facing role.
- Be able to demonstrate effective communication and planning.
- Must have good time management and personal organization skills.
- Be customer focused and have excellent client interaction and communication skills.
- Technically sound and experienced with web development languages including HTML, CSS, ActionScript, JavaScript, etc.
- Experience in using Software such as Eclipse, Flex Builder, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator is needed.
- Lastly, experience working in larger teams is beneficial.
